Meet Emily

Emily, RVT

At a young age, Emily knew she wanted to work with animals after feeling a bond with every creature she met, big or small. She enrolled in the veterinary technology program at Ridgetown College and has succeeded in her dream of bringing joy to people’s lives with the care she provides for their pets. For Emily, nothing can beat witnessing a recovered pet being embraced by a loving owner. Emily shares her joy with her nine-year-old mixed breed Marbles, who loves to tap dance, and two energetic orange and white tabbies, Eddie and Millie. She also lives with another dog and three more cats! When she’s not working, Emily is outdoors. She plays recreational soccer and volleyball and spends every free weekend somewhere in the woods either in a canoe, on foot, or on cross country skis.
