Something the size of a grain of rice can make a huge impact to ease your stress—microchips. Thousands of pets become lost every day, and microchip identification is the one reliable way to reunite these lost pets with their owners. 

Microchipping involves the placement of a small electronic glass encapsulated chip just under the skin in the neck area. A needle is used to inject the chip. The injection is comparable to a regular vaccine injection. Microchipping is a simple and safe procedure. Once the chip is placed it should be there for life. 

Should your pet find itself lost, animal care facilities can scan your pet for a microchip. Then, they can access the relevant registry to see your contact details—reuniting you with your furbabies. 

The scanner is similar to a scanner found in the grocery store. We recommend you use this system of identification as well as a collar identification system on your pet.
